We planned on spending 4 days here, ending up staying a week. If you’re passing through a lot of cities and fancy a little break from the hustle and bustle, this place is perfect! We enjoyed amazing hikes in the area including La Cumbrecita which was very easy to get to via bus on a recommendation from the owners who have become friends of ours. To get into town is a walkable distance but bus route is also available. I cannot boast enough about this hostel, the owners, location, the home-cooked food!! Me and my friend made diversions on our itinerary deliberately to visit this hostel (and that’s no lie) and we could not have been happier to do so! We had a great night. The food was amazing. The service excellent and very accommodating, especially when we had an extra person turn up. Would definitely recommend to friends and work colleagues.
