On a recent visit to Argentina with my family, Hostel Tinktinkie was by far our favorite among all the places we stayed! It is super clean & quiet, with ample room outside for our kids to run. An easy stroll down the lane leads to a peaceful river for swimming. And Santa Rosa de Calamuchita is a lovely little town with lots to do in the area. Tinktinkie is a great place to relax and rejuvenate.
Best of all, Andrey & Nelieta are the most friendly and hospitable of hosts. They make sure that their guests are well-fed and comfortable. Breakfast each day includes delicious home-baked bread. Supper is available upon request, and be sure to take them up on it – Andrey is quite the cook!
Plain and simple, we loved Tinktinkie so much that we changed our plans toward the end of our trip so that we could go back again before heading home!
Room Tip: There are family rooms and a dorm room. All are clean and comfortable.
